FAQ
Are you part of a denomination?
Yep! We are a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of NC.
Who can come?
Anyone! You don't have to be Episcopalian (Fr. James is Episcopalian enough for all of us.) Like many of us, you may not know what you believe. Your questions are welcome here. We are also an inclusive community. You're included no matter your: gender identity, sexual orientation, skin color, background, or whatever.
What is worship like?
We follow the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. We gather around a common table in Holy Communion. We worship with mixed music styles - anything from a stringed quartet to guitar and djembe. We sing traditional hymns, taize, and contemporary songs.
What do you do?
We form community. We serve people on the margins. We retreat together. We eat meals together. We tell people, "You are Beloved" and at the same time, seek to believe it for ourselves.
